Further in this document, we collectively refer to these mentioned activities as the “Services” unless specified further. The Privacy Policy also outlines your rights regarding your personal information under applicable laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
We recognize that your privacy is important to you, and are committed to protecting it.
2. Agreement
In its entirety, the Privacy Policy represents an agreement between Echoforge Games and you. By accessing, using, or interacting with our Services, you consent to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not consent to these practices, we request that you do not download, install, access and/or play our games and if you have done so already, to uninstall our games immediately as well as cease the usage of our website and all other services we may provide.
3. Changes and Updates to the Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, business practices, or updates to our Services, at which point these changes become effective. We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to make an informed choice about whether to use or continue using our Services.
4. Information Collected
4.1 Information Collected Automatically by Us
- Website:
We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information about you when you visit our website. - Game Progress and Gameplay Data:
We collect and store information about your game progress and in-game activities in our Firestore database (hosted by Google Cloud). This includes but is not limited to:
– Character levels, equipment, and inventory
– In-game currency and virtual items
– Game progression (levels completed, achievements, scores)
– Gameplay statistics and performance metrics
– Anti-cheat flags and moderation data
This data is linked to a randomly generated user identifier created by our games when they are first accessed. - In-App Purchases:
When you perform in-app purchases within our games via app store integration, we do not collect or store any payment information from you. All payment processing is handled by the respective app store. If you would like to know what data is collected or how payment information is processed by the responsible merchant service provider, please review their privacy policies:
Google Play Store: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Apple App Store: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
4.2 Information that You provide to Us
- Account Linking:
When you sign in to our games using Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), these services handle authentication and enable cloud save functionality. We do not store your Game Center ID, Google Play Games ID, display name, or other identifiers from these platforms. - Direct Contact Information: If you contact us directly (e.g., via e-mail or through social media), we may collect your name, e-mail address, and a record of the correspondence in order for us to provide sustained service to you.
- Consent-Based Information: We may collect any additional information from you with your explicitly provided consent at the time of collection, such as through optional surveys or promotions.
4.3 Information Collected by Third Parties
- Third-Party Advertisements:
We display advertisements from third-party advertising networks in our games. These networks collect and use information about you and your interaction with our Services to e.g. optimize their service towards you and measure the success of advertisement campaigns. The primary advertising network we use is Google AdMob, which mediates ads from additional networks including IronSource Mobile Ltd., Meta Audience Network, and Unity Ads.
Android – Android Advertising ID:
On Android devices, advertising networks may access your Android Advertising ID (a unique, resettable identifier) to provide personalized advertising. You can reset your advertising ID or otherwise manage personalized advertisement in your device settings.
iOS – Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA):
On iOS devices, before our advertising partners can track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites for personalized advertising, we will request your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework when you first launch the app. You can change your tracking preference at any time within your device settings.
– If you allow tracking: Our advertising partners may access your device’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and use it along with other data to show you personalized advertisements.
– If you deny tracking: You will still see advertisements in our games, but they will be non-personalized (contextual ads based on app content rather than your personal interests). Your IDFA will not be available to advertising networks.
Consent for Users in Regulated Regions:
For users in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and certain U.S. states, we also use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain consent for personalized advertising and data processing in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations. This consent mechanism appears in addition to ATT on iOS devices.
Information that advertising networks may collect includes:
– Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS if you allow tracking, Android Advertising ID on Android)
– IP address and approximate location (country/city derived from IP)
– Device information (model, operating system, screen size, language)
– Ad interaction data (ads viewed, clicked, or interacted with)
– App usage patterns and in-app events
– Network connection type
– Demographic inferences (age range, gender, interests)
For further information, we recommend that you read the privacy policies of our advertising partners:
– Google AdMob: https://policies.google.com/privacy
– IronSource: https://developers.is.com/ironsource-mobile/air/ironsource-mobile-privacy-policy/
– Meta Audience Network: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation
– Unity Ads: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy - Analytics and Other Third-Party Services:
In addition to advertising networks, we use the following third-party services that may collect information such as device information, usage patterns, and technical data as described in their respective privacy policies:
– Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics): Collects app usage patterns, session duration, feature interactions, device information (model, OS version), and crash data to help us improve the experience across our Services
– Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports, diagnostic data, and performance information to help us identify and fix technical issues
– Game Center (iOS) / Google Play Games (Android): Gaming platform services that provide authentication, leaderboards, and achievements. - Cloud Save Data:
When you sign in with Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), your game progress may be automatically saved to iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android). This cloud save functionality is provided by Apple and Google respectively, and we do not have direct access to or control over data stored in iCloud or Google Drive. Please review Apple’s and Google’s privacy policies for further details on how they handle cloud save data. - Access through Third-Party Platforms:
If you access our Services through a third-party platform (e.g., social media), we may receive access to certain information about you from that platform. The access to such information may be restricted by privacy settings established at these third-party platforms.
5. Ad Identifiers, Cookies, and Other Tracking Technologies
This section provides technical details about the tracking technologies used in our Services. For information about how third-party advertising networks use these technologies as well as your privacy choices, please refer to Section 4.3 “Third-Party Advertisements.”
5.1 Advertising Identifiers:
Advertising identifiers are unique codes assigned to your device that can be used by advertising networks to deliver personalized ads and measure ad performance:
iOS – Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA): A unique, resettable identifier assigned to your iOS device by Apple. Access to IDFA is controlled by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, which requires your explicit permission before apps can access it.
Android – Android Advertising ID (AAID): A unique, resettable identifier assigned to your Android device by Google. This identifier can be reset or disabled through your device settings.
5.2 Cookies and Similar Technologies:
- Website:
Our website does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. - In-App Technologies:
Our games use local storage to save your preferences and game settings. Our third-party partners use software development kits (SDKs) and similar technologies to:
– Deliver and measure advertisements
– Analyze app performance and usage
– Enable third-party features (authentication, cloud saves) - Your Choices:
You can control tracking technologies through:
– Device settings for advertising identifiers (see Section 4.3 for specific instructions)
– Consent choices in the User Messaging Platform (for users in the EU, EEA, UK, and certain U.S. states)
– App Tracking Transparency permission (iOS users)
Please be aware that limiting these technologies may result in less relevant advertising, and that some features within our Services may require these technologies to function properly.
